In a short amount of time; I have connected with the coast, the bush that surrounds it, and all the people that inhabit it in such a meaningful way. I have been able to truly adapt into a better artist and creator while here and have been well supported every step of the way.

Being in nature whether it's hiking, kayaking, photography, camping or biking has always been a huge passion in my life. Struggling with mental health my whole life, nature has always been a constant rescue for me.

I created Get Outside to encapsulate this and keep reminding us just how great, the great outdoors are for our mental and physical well being.I began Get Outside just knitting beanies for some of the guys I worked with in Northern Canada while I was on Medic on the drilling rigs… -50 Celsius deserves a nice wool beanie, don't ya think.

The brand has been evolving ever since. With my love of hats and creating I have been able to make Get Outside into what it is today.
